Connecting families and schools

Meals that Matter nourishes families and strengthens connections between home and school by providing healthy, ready-to-serve meals for families to pick up from school.

We partner with local restaurants who prepare, pack, and deliver family-sized meals to our neighborhood schools in Charleston, WV.

Our goals are to build community and trust, nourish families, and valuehard-working parents and caregivers. When students and families are invested in their schools, all outcomes improve—including attendance, grades, and behavior.

Each meal contains generous portions of protein and vegetables and, with delivery, costs about $60. Your donations go directly toward more meals for local families.
